Our client is currently seeking a Production Support Specialist for a contract assignment (minimum of 60 days). Position purpose is to monitor Appworx/UC4 scheduling console for aborts and problem jobs, notify appropriate personnel of batch job run issues, follow up to ensure that schedules complete properly. Verify changes to production programs and move new versions to production. This is a full-time contract assignment, which may lead to permanent employment and involves both office work and remote (on-call) work.

The preferred candidate will have 1-2 years of hands on IT Computer Operations experience and knowledge of Unix or Linux commands. In addition possess organizational skills necessary to handle administrative details; communication and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with co-workers; and the ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced, multi-priority environment, which demands versatility and flexibility.
